Welcome to JPL Institute of Well-Being

What to Expect

Scheduling an Appointment

You can reach our team by phone or through our contact form. We are here to assist with any questions and will explain the process for your appointment. Please have the patient's full name, date of birth, mailing address, best contact number, payment information, and any information about their current psychiatrist or treating provider (if they have one) ready.

Getting Ready for Your Appointment

You will need to complete your new patient packet before or at your appointment. If you'd like to complete it beforehand, please request the necessary copies from our front staff. Remember to bring a picture ID with you and be prepared to sign any required release of information forms. If you take ADHD medication, please do not take it before your visit.

Your Appointment

At your appointment, our team will provide the required forms and collect payment. Your technician will explain the instructions for your selected tests and begin the practice tests. Each test requires successful completion of the practice test before moving on to the actual assessment. If you repeatedly fail the practice test, you may reschedule for another attempt or request a refund. The technician will remain in the room to monitor your progress and completion, and you can ask them any questions you may have. The visit may last between 30 to 60 minutes.

Getting Your Results

Once the test is complete, your technician will ask if you'd like to schedule an appointment with one of our partnered psychiatry clinicians. Please note that this visit will be billed directly through our partners, not through us. If you do not need require an evaluation, you can choose to decline. Results are typically completed on the same day, and once prepared, you'll receive an email copy of the assessment results. We strongly recommend having your results reviewed by a licensed healthcare professional who can advise you on treatment options.

Comprehensive Support for Patients

At JPL Institute of Well-Being, we prioritize seamless integration with patients' existing support systems, including healthcare providers and educational institutions. Our goal is to ensure that individuals receive comprehensive support and resources for managing ADHD effectively.
